This is serious stuff.
In her third decade, Amy C Collins has taken on the very American task of re-inventing herself. Early retirement from a successful (read: big money, not corporate CEO big money but more-than-she-ever-thought-she'd-make-doing-anything-short-of-winning-the-lottery-which-she-doens't-even-play-not-really big money) career in the New York City wine biz left her gently flailing in the airy breeze of creative freedom and huge expanses of time, albeit in Castellano Spanish, which she doesn't actually speak or understand, way down in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A year later she moved serendipitously to Florence, Alabama and started this blog, which has evlovled in the last four years, along with its creator. In short, this blog is a weekly, Monday column of the old-school genre; pictures of life, thoughts on contemporary America, Alabama, gardening, art, creativity, reading, and definitely writing. She loves comments and feedback, and reblogs and links to her site. She also loves walks in nature, sitting creekside, funny movies, books with startling truths, delicious food, her MacBook, her iPhone, genius ideas, and her Saturday art class.
She also writes & posts book reviews via GoodReads on everything she reads, new or a 100 years old, and welcomes comments and sharing.
